The cell counter is easy to use and provides quick results. Sometimes the slides are slightly blurred, which can affect cell counting. Overall, it is recommended if you need to quickly determine the cell count of a large number of samples.

The machine works well, with reproducible results. It is user-friendly, occupies little space and does not require a computer to operate. The only small thing I would say is that it is slightly slower than other automatic counters I have tried, but it is completely usable.

Using the LUNA reusable slide for accurate cell counting with automated cell counters

In this application note, Logos Biosystems compares the cell counting results of the LUNA reusable slide, a hemocytometer, and disposable slides. Cell counting is an essential step in routine cell maintenance and for obtaining accurate and consistent experimental results. In recent years, automated cell counters have become more popular because affordable instruments have become increasingly available at competitive prices. However, many researchers still use the hemocytometer to avoid the expenses associated with the use of disposable slides.
