Sputofluol® can be used as pre-treatment solution for microscopy investigation of mycobacteria. It will release the mycobacteria from sputum and other material of human origin through the oxidative dissolution of organic material. It is also part of the Tb-color kit and can be used in clinical diagnostics as it is CE certified and registered as IVD.
