RNAscope 2.5 LS Reagent Kits, RNAscope LS Duplex Reagent Kits and LS multiplex kits are offered for a fully automated walk-away solution on the Leica BOND RX System by Leica Biosystems automating the Permeabilize, Hybridize and Amplify steps of the RNAscope Workflow.
RNAscope VS Universal Reagent Kits are offered for an automated walk-away solution on the DISCOVERY ULTRA automated tissue staining systems by Roche Tissue Diagnostics automating the Hybridize and Amplify steps of the RNAscope Workflow. The RNAscope VS Universal Assays allow for additional capability such as ISH-IHC or IF with Roche Tissue Diagnostic’s mRNA Universal protocol.
RNAscope assays on automtation platforms allow high throughputness. RNAscope LS and VS Brown assay is a very robust assay and gives reliable results which are ideal for archiving due to the permanent staining. It is the standard in molecular pathology diagnostics, usable for a wide source of samples and the results are visible under any standard bright field microscope. The RNAscope LS and VS RED with it Fast Red dye offers a higher contrast and is the first choice in in situ hybridization applications where chromogenic staining with DAB is less desirable. Our Duplex Kit is designed for simultaneous in situ detection of two RNA species. We also offer multiplex assay on Leica platform that enables single-molecule detection of up to four RNA targets simultaneously and is ideal for co-expression studies.
Incorporation of spatial mapping and confirmation of gene signatures into single cell RNA sequencing workflows
The RNAscope technology is an advanced in situ hybridization assay that allows for the visualization of single-cell gene expression targeting RNA sequences directly in tissues. The proprietary double Z probe design in combination with the advanced signal amplification enables highly specific and sensitive detection of target RNAs in fresh frozen, fixed frozen, and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) cells and tissues, with each dot representing a single RNA transcript.
