Introducing the Bio-Rad Platelia SARS-CoV-2 Total Ab Immunoassay
Bio-Rad’s Platelia SARS-CoV-2 Total Ab is a serological assay that detects the three types of antibodies, allowing early or later diagnosis of infection by identifying people with an immune response to the virus. Fast product development, as required by the unprecedented pandemic may lead to underperforming assays. However, Bio-Rad leveraged studies performed during the 2003 SARS outbreak and the SARS-CoV-2 assay was further optimized to address these new diagnostic challenges.
