Having the LabElite DeCapper has helped with capping/decapping samples and increased our process throughput. There are issues with the head picking up tube racks, usually matrix racks. The technicians come in and help with the issue but still no permanent solution has been found.

This product is an integral part of our transition to 2D barcoded tubes and increasing our throughput. The touchscreen makes it very easy to use, as does the flexibility to select the configuration of samples to be capped or decapped.

Excellent product for the money. We love the flexibility of tube and cap options as well as the 2D barcode reading. Wish that it was easier to integrate with other Hamilton liquid handlers (i.e. Nimbus).
