The Mass Spectrometer by JEOL is a crucial piece of equipment used in the lab. Without the JMS TQ 4000 GC Triple Quadrupole MS we would not be able to analyze human samples for the presence of pesticides. Such compounds are ubiquitous in the environment and need to be carefully monitored for the continued health of the population. With an ever increasing amount of pesticides used in food and showing up in drinking water, the JEOL MS is perhaps the most important piece of scientific equipment used in our lab at NYU Langone Health.
