Hamilton Company has announced that it is joining its high-throughput automated workflow ingenuity with Artel’s performance testing expertise so that users may be assured of robust and continuous automated liquid handling workstation performance integrity. As part of the collaboration, Artel and Hamilton will co-develop standard automated scripts for Hamilton’s automated workstations.

This service conveniently frees users from the task of programming the liquid handler according to their unique assay requirements. It also renders a detailed and optimized automated workflow to improve sample processing throughput and laboratory efficiency compared to manual processing methods. As the scripts are developed using a standardized framework, users may be assured of highly consistent, accurate, and precise results across all Hamilton liquid handlers within a facility or across a laboratory network.

“By combining Artel’s expertise in liquid handling quality assurance and Hamilton’s industry-leading expertise in automation, this new service aims to enable scientists to seamlessly automate their assay workflows”, says Kirby Pilcher, President and Co-Founder of Artel.

“As research methods are more sensitive and intricate than ever before, scientists need automated solutions that are time-saving as well as highly accurate and precise,” notes Michael Mouradian, Vice President of Robotics at Hamilton Company. “Artel is an absolute leader in quality testing for automated solutions, and we are eager to work with them so that our mutual customers can confidently and accurately achieve their goals.”
