pMD18-T Vector、pMD19-T Vector是一种高效克隆PCR产物(TA Cloning) 的专用载体。这两种载体分别由pUC18、pUC19载体改建而成，在pUC18、pUC19载体的多克隆位点处的Xba I和Sal I识别位点之间插入了EcoR V识别位点，用EcoR V进行酶切反应后，再在两侧的3'端添加"T" 而成。因大部分耐热性DNA聚合酶进行PCR反应时都有在PCR产物的3'末端添加一个"A" 的特性，所以使用这两种制品可以大大提高PCR产物的连接、克隆效率。
由于这两种载体是分别以pUC18、pUC19载体为基础构建而成，所以它具有同pUC18、pUC19载体相同的功能。此外，这两种制品中的高效连接液Ligation Mix可以在极短时间内(约5分钟) 完成连接反应，且此连接液可以直接用于细菌转化，大大方便了实验操作。制品中的Control Insert (500 bp) 还可以用于Control反应。
pMD19-T Vector与pMD18-T Vector相比，pMD19-T Vector的β-半乳糖苷酶的表达活性更高，菌落显示蓝色的时间缩短，菌落显示的蓝色更深。因此，克隆后更容易进行克隆体的蓝白筛选。
