StemSoft Software Inc. and BioE®, Inc. announced today they have entered into a partnership to provide cord blood banks a complete, quality-driven turnkey solution for comprehensive cord blood data management and cord blood processing. The integrated solution combines BioE’s clinically proven PrepaCyte®-CB Cord Blood Processing System with StemSoft’s StemLab, the industry-standard cord blood banking software.

The PrepaCyte-CB/StemLab solution comes pre-defined with a BioE-approved standard procedure template. This standard template ensures process standardization in the laboratory and guides users through the manufacturer recommended PrepaCyte-CB instructions, while also tracking complete lot-to-lot traceability, ISBT labeling and freezer inventory from within StemLab.

The PrepaCyte-CB Processing System is a sterile, closed-bag processing system that efficiently separates therapeutically beneficial cells, including total nucleated cells and stem cells, from human umbilical cord blood prior to public or private banking.
