STARLIMS Technologies Ltd., a leading provider of laboratory information management systems (LIMS), was selected for a $1.1 million contract with a global energy company. The contract covers licenses for the web-based STARLIMS software, as well as implementation services and five years of maintenance.

The solution will be implemented in two U.S. facilities, and will be used for quality control and environmental monitoring. The customer is a global energy company with annual revenues above $1 billion.

"This sale underscores the strength of our web-based LIMS offering for distributed organizations. We have proven workflows in place to meet the needs of labs in a wide range of industries and disciplines; and our system is flexible enough to enable rapid adaptation to lab-specific requirements," said Jeff Ferguson, Chief Operating Officer at STARLIMS.
