Product news

For the first time MACHEREY-NAGEL introduces a 100% Ion Trap compatible ultra low bleed GC-capillary column. The features are extreme low column bleeding, very good deactivation for basic compounds and high temperature stability.

The basic polymer comprises the newest arylene-siloxane technique, leading to highest possible temperature stabilities parallel to lowest bleeding values.

The OPTIMA® 5-MS ACCENT meets the demands of modern ultra low bleed GC-capillary columns:

  • lowest bleeding for ultra trace analysis
  • Ion-Trap and Quadrupol compatibility
  • high temperature stability
  • excellent deactivation for basic compounds
  • rapid conditioning time (< 2h)

Gas ChromatographyGas chromatography (GC) is an analytical technique used to separate and quantitate mixtures of small and volatile compounds. Gas chromatographs or GC systems include components such as GC columns, detectors, pumps and autosamplers. Choose from packed or capillary GC columns, flame ionization (FID), photoionization (PID) electron capture detectors and selective or non-selective detectors.
