RDi USA automated kitting line
RDi has officially introduced RDi USA Inc., at booth 4454 at ADLM 2026, marking a major expansion of its automated diagnostic kitting, fulfillment and connected self-sampling capabilities into the United States.
RDi USA has been created to help laboratories, diagnostic manufacturers, healthcare providers, screening organizations, retailers, employers and research partners overcome one of the largest barriers to scaling diagnostic testing: the fragmented infrastructure surrounding the test itself.
The company brings together the physical, digital and logistical elements of a diagnostic pathway – from kit design, component sourcing and automated assembly through patient fulfillment, sample-return logistics, laboratory integration, digital engagement, tracking and results delivery.
RDi is also establishing U.S.-based manufacturing and fulfillment capacity, giving American customers access to domestic operations supported by the automation, quality systems and large-scale program experience developed by the wider RDi Group over more than two decades.
The company’s digital technology, including its +CURA pathway platform, can support patients from the point a test is ordered through kit activation, sample collection, return, laboratory processing and access to results. This allows partners to create a more connected experience while retaining their own brand, clinical model and laboratory relationships.
RDi’s expansion into the United States follows its experience supporting complex, high-volume diagnostic and screening services in the United Kingdom and international markets. These have included national-scale screening pathways, pathology programs, at-home testing and customized specimen-collection solutions.
David Cahill, Group Chief Executive Officer of RDi, said, “We are not simply bringing another kitting supplier into the market. We are bringing an operating model that connects automated manufacturing, fulfillment, logistics, digital technology and laboratory integration into one dependable pathway.”
“Launching RDi USA at ADLM is particularly significant because this is where the people shaping the future of diagnostics and laboratory medicine come together. We believe the next phase of testing will increasingly happen beyond traditional clinical settings — in people’s homes, workplaces, pharmacies and communities. Our role is to give laboratories and healthcare partners the infrastructure they need to make that transition safely, efficiently and at American scale.”
