Product news

The new Air Science Vent-Box ductless filtration system is designed to protect laboratory personnel from chemical vapors found inside of standalone chemical safety cabinets.

The Vent-Box utilizes the exclusive Air Science Multiplex Filtration System, a unique configuration that includes a pre-filter and main filter to create a chemical, physical or combination architecture to adsorb, neutralize or trap the target chemicals or particulate while constant negative pressure removes vapors and particulates from the cabinets interior.

Fumes are pulled via a flexible hose connected to the cabinet and clean, filtered air is returned to the laboratory, eliminating the need for external ducting and minimizing loss of treated, conditioned air from the facility.
The Vent-Box is available in a variety of configurations to match the vapors or particulate removal requirements.

FiltrationFiltration and microfiltration are used to separate solids, particulates or large molecules from fluids (liquid or gases) in order to purify the filtrate. Explore a range of filter formats, including filter paper, plates and membranes for your separation needs. While larger particulates may be separated by gravity filtration, smaller particulates may require additional force for timely separation. Microfiltration equipment includes vacuum filters, as well as positive pressure, crossflow and centrifugal filtration devices.
