Product news

Carestream Molecular Imaging develops high-performance digital imaging systems, imaging agents, and films for life science research and drug discovery/development.

At AACR, we will be previewing our newest product evolution for in vitro imaging: The Gel Logic 212 Pro. Features include a fully 1.4 megapixel CCD camera, motorized 6x zoom lens, true 12-bit data capture, virtual illumination controls, a roll out trans-illuminator, and more. Created to meet the needs of the basic research community, the Gel Logic 212 Pro allows easy imaging of fluorescence and colorimetric data in sample formats such as gel (DNA/Coomassie/Silver stain) membranes, and 96 well plates.

Our Image Stations Systems bring a higher level of automation and precision, providing reproducible and quantitative imaging of chemiluminescent, fluorescent, chromogenic and radioisotopic labels in gels, blots, and plates. Using state-of-the-art cooled CCD technology, they provide high-sensitivity multimodal optical molecular imaging for in vitro samples, with options for adding in vivo capabilities.
Our unique In-Vivo Multispectral FX System is the only instrument currently available to provide multispectral fluorescence, luminescence, digital x-ray and radioisotopic imaging capabilities for in vivo imaging. This multi-spectral system enables researchers to use non-invasive optical molecular technology to precisely locate and monitor changes in molecular activity of specific cells or organs—long before morphological changes can be detected. This expedites the development of effective therapeutic treatments for disease.

Running all of Carestream’s In Vitro and In Vivo instrumentation, our Molecular Imaging Software provides high-performance image analysis for a wide range of molecular imaging applications. With a comprehensive set of tools for quantitation, image adjustment, databasing, and reporting, our MI Software improves the quality and ease of image analysis for gels, blots, plates, small animals, and more.

Visit us at AACR booth #611 to learn how you can generate powerful molecular imaging results with Carestream’s high-performance, versatile systems.

The use of biomarkers in research and diagnosis can indicate a normal or disease state or drug response of cells / tissues. Biomarkers include genetic markers, cell surface markers such as antigens, antibodies or receptors and secreted molecules such as cytokines. An assay system is required for identification of biomarkers. :
