The NEW Electric Cell-substrate Impedance Sensing (ECIS) System from BTX is perfect for Automated Studies of Cell Attachment and Spreading with the NEW 8 Well Cellular Impedance System.

The ECIS 800 provides a novel method to perform real time cell monitoring, electroporation, and wounding.

The system measures impedance changes of AC current on a small electrode to observe cell movement, confluence and adherence to the electrode.

The highly specialized 8-well slides use an array of gold film electrodes that connect to the ECIS 800 electronics allowing multiple preparations to be studied in parallel.
