11 Dec 2007Based on experience of close to 1500 scintillation counting systems installed Hidex is proud to present the 300SL automatic TDCR liquid scintillation counter.
The new reader has automatic sample loading of various vial sizes. It includes a revolutionary Triple to Double Coincidence Ratio measurement feature that enables easy and straightforward determination of sample efficiency with out any external or internal source of radioactivity.
Alpha/Beta separation, Temperature control, external standard and low level counting mode are all optionally available.

300SL automatic TDCR liquid scintillation counter
HidexThe basic system is a counter with sample trays holding either 40 (5x8) 20 ml vials or 96 (8x12) 7ml vials. The counter has a pneumatic arm which is loading the samples to the detector chamber. The counter has a unique three PMT detector which enables Triple to Double Coinciencidence Ratio counting. This enables easy determination of sample counting effiency without any external or internal standard. The counter will have an optional external standard for traditional quench level determination(available may 2008). Other options include alpha/beta separation, Sample temperature cooling to 15 degrees(available may 2008) and low level counting(available end of 2008). System is completely controlled from a PC and the software has 21 CFR part 11 compliancy as an option for secure handling of data.
