INTEGRA Announces 6 Channel Voyager Electronic Adjustable Spacing Pipette
16 May 2010Designed for laboratories looking for a productive and flexible electronic pipette - the new six channel Voyager™ features a revolutionary mechanism that alters tip spacing at the press of a button. The 6 channel Voyager incorporates a small motor that moves the center-to-center tip spacing quickly and smoothly at any point in a protocol, all with one hand. Users can preset up to three distinct tip spacing’s enabling one 6 channel Voyager to accommodate most labware vessels. The 6 channel tip spacing for both models can be adjusted from 9.0mm to 19.5mm.
All Voyager pipettes share the same easy-to-use Touch Wheel™ controller from the award winning Viaflo pipettes series with intuitive programming and the industry's first full-color display. Also, all Voyager pipettes are designed to utilize Viaflo Griptips. As a result, individuals can pipette without ever having a tip loosen and leak or fall off. Two six channel Voyager models are now available, in volume ranges of 10-300µl and 50-1250µl. This unique product makes quick work with 24 well plates, 48 well plates and many additional labware formats.
