Dionex announce the release of three new MAbPac™ SCX-10 column formats for faster MAb analysis, pH gradients, and LC/MS use. The MAbPac SCX-10 is designed specifically for high-resolution analysis and characterization of MAb variants. The new formats include: 4 × 150 mm for fast MAb separations; 4 × 50 mm column for pH gradients; and 2 × 150 mm for upstream separations in LC/MS applications.

The MAbPac SCX-10 column’s unique nonporous pellicular resin provides exceptionally high resolving power, permitting the separation of MAb variants with high resolution. Hydrophobic interactions with the resin are essentially eliminated resulting in highly resolved peaks. The column, complementing the MAb Characterization platforms, is designed to address the regulatory requirements for biopharmaceutical characterization, providing unmatched column-to-column and lot-to-lot reproducibility.

LC-MSLC-MS (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry) systems and equipment are used for separation and quantitative analysis of complex mixtures, combining liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. Quantify proteins, contaminants, pesticides or screen for drug metabolites with a high level of sensitivity. LC-MS systems and equipment include reverse phase, normal phase and specialized columns integrated with various MS detectors such as time-of-flight (TOF), quadrupole, orbitrap or ion trap mass analyzers. LC-MS/MS instruments equipped with a qTOF or triple quadrupole analyzer give greater sensitivity and resolving power to your analysis.
