miScript miRNA PCR Arrays

QIAGEN

The miScript miRNA PCR Arrays accurately analyze the expression of multiple microRNA (miRNA) sequences at the same time on ANY real-time PCR instrument. This new generation of miRNA PCR Array builds on the original strengths of the RT² miRNA PCR Arrays* with new pathway content, expanded assay coverage plus added species all with the flexibility and sample preparation advantages of the miScript PCR System. The available 96- or 384-well plates or Rotor Disc 100 arrays contain SYBR Green optimized and experimentally validated assays for either entire human, mouse, rat and dog miRNA genomes (miRNomes) or pathway-focused sets of miRNA assays. Our proprietary miRNA detection technologies enable uniformly high PCR amplification efficiencies, allowing simultaneous detection of miRNA under uniform cycling conditions. These technologies also provide the miScript miRNA PCR Array with high sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy. miScript miRNA PCR Arrays are currently available for the human, mouse, rat and dog species, and individual miRNAs can be analyzed independently with miScript Primer Assays.

Microplate readers are generally distinguished by their mode of detection. Types include absorbance, luminescence, fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarization, TRF / FRET and multimode microplate readers. Microplate readers deliver a high throughput of samples by reading multiple wells simultaneously, with the 96-well format the most commonly used. As a result, microplate readers are often used in the drug discovery, bioassays, research and pharmaceutical industries for screening applications. Microplate loading can also be automated, with robotic microplate stackers to increase throughput. This can reveal information on cell health (apoptosis, cytotoxicity, viability and proliferation assays), cell metabolism, cell migration and cell signaling mechanisms. Find the best cell-based assay products, kits and equipment with our peer reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receiving pricing direct from manufacturers.DNA / RNA Extraction and PurificationPurified DNA and RNA are required for numerous downstream molecular biology applications. Consequently, the importance of high-quality DNA/RNA extraction and purification equipment cannot be underestimated. Many purification kits are available and are typically optimized for nucleic acid type and source, including plasmid DNA, genomic DNA, mRNA, RNA and viral nucleic acid purification kits. Automated extraction and purification of nucleic acids can be implemented with magnetic bead separator instruments or high-throughput purification workstations. Find the best DNA/RNA extraction and purification equipment in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.BiomarkersBiomarkers are biological markers which can be measured and evaluated to indicate a biological state. The use of biomarkers in research and diagnosis can indicate a normal or disease state or drug response of cells / tissues. Biomarkers include genetic markers, cell surface markers such as antigens, antibodies or receptors and secreted molecules such as cytokines. An assay system is required for identification of biomarkers. :Next Generation SequencingNext-generation sequencing (NGS), also known as whole-genome sequencing, high-throughput sequencing and massive parallel sequencing, produces and analyses thousands to millions of nucleotide sequences at once. Sequencing systems operate via varying technologies depending on the manufacturer, including sequencing by synthesis, ligation, pyrosequencing, ion semiconductor and single-molecule real-time sequencing. For NGS, library preparation is paramount to successful sequencing. In this section, explore a range of library preparation kits, from targeted, amplicon-based or hybridization-based kits including epigenomic, transcriptomic and genomic workflows to fragmentation kits.
