The equipment will permit governmental health authorities to extend the coverage of immunization and vaccination programs. Dr. Soe Lwin Nyein, Director-General of the Department of Public Health, received the medical devices from the hands of Chandra Rangabashyam, B Medical Systems’ Consultant for Asia. The state-of-the-art devices will contribute to the Government’s activities for effective vaccine management and cold-chain improvement. As part of its social responsibility program, last year, B Medical Systems also provided two of its first Solar Drive Vaccine refrigerators and freezers from the new generation to Myanmar.

B Medical Systems’ equipment was handed over to the International Health Division of Myanmar during a ceremony which took place earlier in June 2016 and which was attended by His Excellency, Ambassador Robert Lauer the Government’s Deputy Director General, Department of Public Health, the Director of Procurement and Supply Division, as well as a number of Department Heads for Immunization and Medical Services of the Ministry of Health of Myanmar and B Medical Systems’ local partner.
