B&W Tek Announces Upgrades to the Exemplar Series Spectrometers

B&W Tek, Inc., an advanced instrumentation company producing optical spectroscopy and laser systems, is proud to announce major enhancements to their Exemplar™ spectrometer series. The Exemplar and Exemplar LS are part of a smart series of spectrometers that feature on board data processing, USB 3.0 communication, and temperature compensation. The Exemplar Plus offers all of the same features with the addition of a TE Cooled CCD detector.
Now, the Exemplar series has been significantly improved in functionality and stability:
1) Trigger Delay (TD) for synchronization
2) Pulse Chain Outputs (PCO) for low intensity signals: extremely useful for induced low intensity signals such as multi-triggering of a light source for a weak florescence measurement.
3) Extremely stable burst mode for time of flight measurements
B&W Tek has also further improved its BWSpec software that can be seamlessly integrated with the use of the Exemplar series spectrometers.

B&W Tek, Inc.The Exemplar® LS is a smart CCD spectrometer optimized for low straylight by utilizing an unfolded Czerny-Turner spectrograph It features on board data processing, USB 3.0 communication, and temperature compensation. The Exemplar LS is also optimized for multi-channel operation, featuring ultra-low trigger delay and gate jitter. Additionally, the Exemplar LS features a 2048 element detector and built-in 16-bit digitizer with greater than 2.0 MHz readout speed.The Exemplar LS is available in two standard spectral configurations: 200nm - 400nm and 200nm – 850nm with resolutions of less than 0.4nm.
