Available in seven attractive coloured acrylic tints corresponding to the seven colours of the rainbow, each Rainbow-gel horizontal is colour-coded either to differentiate between those units designated for individual use or for a specific electrophoresis-based technique - for example northern blotting.

Depending on the width and number of gel-casting trays, Scie-Plas Rainbow-gels are manufactured in SVG-SYS MINI, TVG-SYS MIDI and VG-SYS MAXI formats:

• SVG-SYS MINI format: A 7-cm wide horizontal gel electrophoresis unit with 2 gel-casting trays: 7x7cm & 7x10cm (WxL);
