Application Note: PathHunter™ Secretion Assays with Mithras LB 940

This application note describes how the PathHunter™ assay reagent kit can be combined with the Mithras LB 940 multimode plate reader can be used to directly measure protein secretion without imaging or antibodies. The Mithras LB 940 has a unique optical design (DOPS – Dedicated Optical Path System) to ensure optimized performance for the detection technologies used in PathHunter™ assays such as luminescence, fluorescence and UV/VIS absorbance. The application note details protocols to set up assays for 1 hour or overnight secretion including the Mithras LB 940 instrument settings required.
