Application Note: Spotlight on PRAME
28 July 2021

PRAME is a melanoma antigen that is preferentially expressed in tumors and is recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. PRAME can be used to distinguish between malignant melanoma cells and nevus cells, and therefore may be useful for diagnostic purposes to support a suspected case of melanoma.

In this application note, learn more about the benefits of PRAME and explore evidence that suggests it is a valuable addition to the skin IHC panel to differentiate melanoma from dysplastic and nodal nevi.
