Lab ultrafiltration tips and tricks

The use of ultrafiltration membranes for concentration and purificationof proteins and DNA is ubiquitous in biological laboratories. Filter devices with ultrafiltration membranes can also be used for concentration of other macromolecules such as inorganic polymers, nanoparticles or even viruses.
