Excellent, consistent marker for microglia.
Immunofluorescence
This Ab yielded highly specific and intense signal in microglia in vibratome-sliced fixed brain tissue. The microglial specificity of the Ab staining was confirmed by co-localization with CX3CR1-GFP signal. At all slice thicknesses tested, the antibody penetration was not found to be a limiting factor.
