This Ab should not be used for studying DARC expression
Flow cytometry
DARC is known to be expressed by erythroid cells including nucleated erythroid cells (NECs) and RBC. Polyclonal antibody from R&D failed to immunoreact with NECs but at high concentration stained BM macrophages, however non-specifically as to the same extent in WT and DARC-KO mice. Therefore FAB6695 Ab does not specifically recognise DARC and for this reason.
