Sensitive, but not very specific (could be batch-dependent).
Western blot
The antibody was very sensitive, but not specific. Three different bands appeared on sizes: the strongest band (60 kDa) and two bands of equal intensity (70, 80 kDa). Also, it seems that this batch is very sensitive to thawing and freezing.

Western blot
I tested the antibody on human ovarian cancer cell extracts and A549 cell line. Samples were collected, sonicated, mixed with loading buffer, and resolved on a vertical electrophoresis system using denaturating conditions. I incubated the nitrocellulose membrane using 1:1000 antibody diluted in 5% non-fat milk with TBS-T for 2 h on rt, washed in TBS-T and incubated with adequate secondary antibody. Visualization was done using ECL. Signals were strong, but there was three of them, between the sizes of 80-50 kDa. The weakest signal was around 78 kDa, which is the predicted size for DNER protein. Changes in protocol did not alter the result.
