Alexa Fluor® 594-AffiniPure Fab Fragment Goat Anti-Human IgG (H+L)
Fab fragment antibodies are generated by papain digestion of whole IgG antibodies to remove the entire Fc portion, including the hinge region. These antibodies are monovalent, containing only a single antigen binding site. The molecular weight of Fab fragments is about 50 kDa.Based on antigen-binding assay and/or ELISA, the antibody reacts with whole molecule human IgG. It also reacts with the light chains of other human immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. The antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.

Reviews
Consistently reliable results
Immunofluorescence
This antibody has been used for multiplexing IF with various CD and Neuro markers. Both sequential and cocktailed formats have been used on FFPE and frozen tissue sections. Our laboratory has used several lots of this 594 labeled antibody and the results are impressive. This means that Jackson's QC and overall product development processes are on top of it. I've used Jackson's products for decades and they are absolutely reliable! They are the go-to for secondary antibodies. In addition, their technical advice on how to change the species of antibodies, multiplexing, and blocking methods work exceptionally well. Companies or anyone using these techniques to make products should be paying royalties to Jackson. I was hoping that Jackson would make various polymers such as HRP and AP. Example: goat anti-mouse / rabbit HRP or AP. I would purchase and immediately perform comparative testing versus our current vendor.
