Unravelling the Food-Health Nexus: Addressing Practices, Political Economy and Power Relations to Build Healthier Food Systems

Professor Cecilia Rocha, Director of the School of Nutrition at Ryerson University, Canada, presents the results of an iPES FOOD report on sustainable food systems, commissioned by the Global Alliance for the Future of Food. The report set out to understand how food systems impact human health, how well these impacts are understood, the challenges faced in building a comprehensive understanding of these impacts and the key leverage points that can be used to change food systems in the future.
