Lee Cronin, Regius Professor of Chemistry at the University of Glasgow, discusses the Cronin Group’s ambitious and far-reaching project to discover the origins of life and the inception of a programmable robot for molecular discovery. This new solution aims to bring in a new golden age of reproducible, open-source chemistry and save thousands of hours of time spent on repetitive routine chemical syntheses.
