Speakers
Dr. Chris Kavanagh is a Senior Scientific Sales Specialist at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, focusing on the Molecular and Immunoassay Workflow portfolios. He began his commercial scientific career in 2005 as an account manager with Sigma-Aldrich Ireland, later advancing to roles such as Transcriptomics Specialist and Field Applications Specialist until the acquisition in 2015. Prior to his current position, Kavanagh served as a Life Science Product Manager at Technopath Distribution (now part of Diploma Life Sciences) and as a Project Manager at BioResearch Ireland. He holds a PhD in Plant Molecular Genetics and a BSc (Hons) in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from University College Dublin.
