From patient-derived tumor organoids to AI-designed therapies: A closed-loop phenotypic discovery platform

Monday, November 16 at 16:00 GMT | 17:00 CET | 11:00 EST | 08:00 PST

This webinar introduces a patient-centred approach to cancer drug discovery that brings together patient-derived tumor organoids, fully automated imaging-based screening with Orbits® analysis, and artificial intelligence (AI). Prof. Dr. Christophe Deben will explain how starting from real patient tumor models improves the clinical relevance of early drug discovery, and how automation and AI make it possible to develop, test and optimize compounds at scale. He will illustrate the approach with a first-in-class drug candidate discovered entirely through this closed-loop platform, which is further being developed towards the clinic by the spin-off Sightera Biosciences.
