Validation of the Eppendorf epMotion® 5075 TMX System for use with an Automated Forensic DNA Extraction Kit.
11 Jul 2011This application note describes an automated method for obtaining genomic DNA from biological samples suitable for real-time qPCR and STR profiling. The Eppendorf epMotion® 5075 TMX, automated extraction method compared with manual techniques was found to minimise hands on time with a run of a maximum of 96 samples taking approximately 2.5 hours. This liquid handling system interfaces with the computer epBlue software.
