Slingshot Biosciences TBNK Mimic as a reliable alternative to PBMC controls for consistent immunophenotyping in flow cytometry
26 May 2026This application note evaluates TBNK Mimic™ controls from Slingshot Biosciences as an alternative to PBMC-based controls for flow cytometry immunophenotyping. Designed to replicate key immune cell populations, the synthetic controls demonstrated improved lot-to-lot consistency, reduced variability, and extended stability compared to traditional PBMCs. The results highlight their suitability for standardized workflows across research, clinical, and manufacturing environments.
