Quality control of genomic DNA for the French kidney disease study

30 May 2023

In this application note, Agilent Technologies focuses on the French Chronic Kidney Disease - Renal Epidemiology and Information Network (CKD-REIN) project, a cohort study aimed at identifying determinants, biomarkers, and practice patterns related to chronic kidney disease outcomes. The study involved the collection and processing of biomaterials for future genome-wide association studies. The Agilent 4200 TapeStation system and the Genomic DNA ScreenTape assay were used as a quality control tool to monitor the integrity of genomic DNA (gDNA) extracted from frozen buffy coats stored for up to five years.
