The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a member of the type 1 receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family and a key regulator of development and growth in cells. As abnormal EGFR activity can result in oncogenic proliferation, EGFR and RTK family members have emerged as cancer biomarkers and therapeutic targets. This application note shows that Endogenous RTK responses can be measured with Corning Epic Technology.
