Investigating the relationship between coffee extraction and ground coffee size

In this application note, the effect of particle size and distribution of ground coffee on the effectiveness of coffee extraction is investigated using a laser diffraction instrument. The application note used the Bettersizer 2600 with the dry dispersion unit to investigate the relative coffee particle sizes.
