In this application note, MicroSolv Technology Corporation demonstrates how the cogent phenyl hydride column was used to obtain chromatographic separation. The same column can be used in the reversed phase mode as well, highlighting its versatility in the analysis of both hydrophilic and hydrophobic compounds.

Cogent Phenyl Hydride™ HPLC Columns

MicroSolv Technology Corp.

Cogent Phenyl Hydride HPLC Columns are manufactured with TYPE-C™ silica (silica hydride) and a butyl-phenyl ligand that is attached with a direct silicon bond. This makes these non-end capped columns extremely stable with unique separation capabilities that offers great selectivity for polar and non-polar analytes that have aromatic groups.
