FT-IR Analysis of Solar Thermal Materials

Clean, efficient and reliable energy generation is still one of the most important challenges mankind has to meet. For solar thermal applications it is essential that the optical properties of the solar absorber surface meet the requirements and FT-IR spectroscopy is the ideal tool to analyze these properties. This application note demonstrates that the VERTEX or TENSOR series FT-IR spectrometers with integration sphere A562 are ideal tools for this analysis.
