This application note demonstrates how to combine Lonza’s electroporation-based NucleofectorTM Technology with culturing transiently transfected cells in the RAFTTM 3D Cell Culture System. Electroporation is a transfection technology based on the momentary creation of small pores in cell membranes by applying an electrical pulse. Lonza’s NucleofectorTM Technology is an improved electroporation technology that can be used to transfect primary cells, stem cells and hard-to-transfect cell lines.
