Determining The Pharmacokinetics And Metabolic Fate Of A Novel Anti-Cancer Compound Using LC/MS/MS With Comprehensive Data Collection

This poster presented a comparison of the benefits and challenges for the simultaneous acquisition of qualitative and quantitative LC/MS/MS data using either QToF or Tandem Quadrupole instrumentation. The throughput, sensitivity and spectral quality were compared using plasma samples derived from oral administration of a novel oncology compound to the rat and dog. The samples were deprotinated and analysed by accurate mass LC/MS and tandem quadrupole LC/MS/MS.
