Compound Effects Upon Calcium Transients in Beating Axiogenesis Cor.4U Human iPS Cell-Derived Cardiomyocytes

This application note describes a study where the EarlyTox Cardiotoxicity Kit was used to evaluate the behavior of four compounds that affect calcium oscillation in iPS cell-derived cardiomyocytes. The study used beat rate and oscillation pattern to identify compounds that might have therapeutic effects as well as cardiotoxic effects on cardiomyocytes.
