The BioDot CellWriter S features patented fluorescent in situ hybridization array (FISHArray™) slides designed to perform up to eight FISH assays per slide, requiring only a fraction of testing materials. BioDot discusses the challenges laboratories face in enhancing FISH testing sensitivity for multiple myeloma samples due to low sample volumes. The CellWriter™ S robotic workstation, is highlighted for its ability to address these challenges by utilizing discrete droplet dispensing technology for precise and ultra-low dispensing of solvents and samples. The platform automates sample dispensing, pre-treatment, probe delivery, denaturation, hybridization, and DAPI function in one compact, user-friendly package, allowing laboratories to perform higher-value tasks.

Utilizing BioDot’s nanoliter dispensing technology (BioJet) with temperature and humidity control, the CellWriter S simplifies and automates the dropping process to efficiently deliver quality spread interphase and metaphase nuclei for analysis. FISHArray™ enables multiplexed FISH assays and eliminates the need for rubber cement when preparing for hybridization.
