Automation of a HTRF® Universal Methyltransferase Assay

The study of epigenetic mechanisms affecting a wide range of cellular process has seen dramatic growth over the past several years. This application demonstrates the automation of an assay to measure methyltransferase activity in a 384-well format suitable for HTS and characterization of inhibitors of methyltransferase/substrate or methyltransferase/cofactor interactions.

Gen5 microplate reader software is also used to integrate BioTek plate readers to BioTek BioStack and other automated systems.
