Automated Solution for Monitoring Growth of Staphylococcus aureus

9 Feb 2015

Researchers at the Stanford Genome Technology Center in the US have successfully developed a fully automated platform to study yeast genomics, analyzing the phenotype of mutant strains subjected to small molecule treatment for chemo-genomic assays. This application note describes the detection of S. aureus growth using Tecan’s Infinite 200 PRO microplate reader to perform 600 nm absorbance measurements.
