Airborne Latex Allergens Control in Hospital Environments

13 Nov 2017

Latex products use has increased a lot over last 20 years with a considerable incidence on allergy to latex (single-use products). Latex sensitivity in the healthcare environment is a health problem, particularly amongst children and Spina bifida patients. This study describes the environmental monitoring of latex using the Coriolis®µ.

Coriolis µ - Air Sampler

Bertin Technologies

The Coriolis Micro portable biological air sampler is a standard for testing air quality. Both indoors and outdoors, it’s the most efficient biological air sampler: It can take just 10 minutes to collect airborne particles using its cyclonic technology paired with a high suction rate. By generating samples in the fluid phase, Coriolis µ is compatible with rapid microbiological analysis methods.
