Air Fungal Contamination in French Dwellings

20 Nov 2017

In this study, the US Environmental Relative Moldiness Index (ERMI) values of french households were correlated in QCPR-based fungal concentration found in air samples collected by the Coriolis µ air sampler. The results show that contamination of homes is better expressed as a continuum based on populations of fungi rather than a dichotomous classification of moldy vs non-moldy.

Coriolis µ - Air Sampler

Bertin Technologies

The Coriolis Micro portable biological air sampler is a standard for testing air quality. Both indoors and outdoors, it’s the most efficient biological air sampler: It can take just 10 minutes to collect airborne particles using its cyclonic technology paired with a high suction rate. By generating samples in the fluid phase, Coriolis µ is compatible with rapid microbiological analysis methods.
