The PickPen 1-M magnetic tool provides speed and flexibility in a wide variety of separation and purification applications. A hand-held, convenient, personal tool, it can be used with all types of vessels and with small sample volumes to about 1 µL. The device is particularly suitable for use with QuickPick™ kits, but other particles and reagents may also be used.

The QuickPick gDNA kit is intended for the purification of genomic DNA from human blood, leukocytes, buffy coat and cultured cells. Designed for use with the PickPen magnetic tool, the kit uses MagaZorb™ technology to purify DNA from sample volumes ranging from 1 µl to 50 µl.
