Agilent's premium septa also have a recess on the injection side, to guide the syringe needle to the same point with every injection.

SilTite (Metal) Ferrules     Agilent offers a comprehensive selection of ferrules made of different materials and configurations for a a leak-free connection between the column and injector. SilTite ferrules are used with Agilent Ultimate Union and other Capillary Flow Technology products, including the Purged Effluent Splitter (G3180B), Deans Switch device (G2855B), and QuickSwap Mass Spec Interface (G3185B).  

Even small leaks in the split/splitless injection port can reduce system sensitivity, cause poor signal to noise ration, increase column bleed, and even shorten column lifetime. Agilent high-quality copper, stainless steel, and UltiMetal Plus tubing are manufactured and cleaned for chromatographic use. Agilent Tubing comes in different lengths and depending on your flow requirements, are available in 1/16 inch, 1/8 inch, or 1/4 inch. UltiMetal Plus tubing comes in 1/16 inch for inert environments.
